A new girls basketball coach has been named at DCHS. Nathaniel Kennard, a U.S History and World History at the high school, will replace former Coach Joe Pat Cope and DCHS Computer Science and Math teacher Andrew Dixon will serve as Kennard’s assistant. Kennard, a Rickman resident who has just finished his first year at DCHS, was Tiger basketball coach Lynus Martin’s assistant last season. A resident of Rickman, Kennard received a B.S. degree in Secondary Education-History from Tennessee Tech University in May 2015.
