New Life holds annual cruise-in

The annual Heroes Cruise-In was held at New Life United Pentacostal Church in Smithville, with an impressive turnout despite the rainy weekend weather.“The Heroes Cruise-In was still a success despite the rain and thunderstorms,” said Church Administrator Jory Lester We had die hard car enthusiast's bring out 27 cars and four motorcycles.”“Our youth group was able to sell hot dogs and nacho's to help support their trip to North American Youth Congress,” Lester continued, “Thank you to Lewis Bakeries (Bunny Bread) for the Hot Dog Buns! Lester would also like to extend thanks to the sponsors who donated door prizes at the event, Neo's Cafe,Kilgore's Restaraunt, Los Lobos Mexican Restaraunt, Kwik & Ezy Market, DeKalb Tire, Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, and NAPA Auto Parts, and a special thank you to Ronald Jackie Young for his commitment to classic cars and New Life UPC.
