Paul Oliver took first place in the One-Mile Fun Run, while Jordon Agee and Sophie Adcock tied for second.

Event organizer Charlotte Parsley told the Review that she would like to thank everyone that came out and volunteered and/or sponsored the event, but also a special thank you to the people that came out to help just because they care about our community, including the Smithville Police Department, Smithville Fire Department, the DeKalb County Fire Department, the Smithville-DeKalb County Rescue Squad, DeKalb Ambulance Service and the Smithville Review. "Without these people volunteering their time, the fundraising for our children would not happen." Parsley said.
