The Saints soccer team celebrated their eighth-grade players on May 3 by defeating Jackson County 12-0 on eighth-grade night.

Not only did the final-year Saints receive shirts commemorating the event, they handed the Blue Devils from Gainesboro a 12-0 walloping to top the night off. Ben Snipes, Bill Miller, Micheal Elswick and Esteban Garza put two goals each in for DeKalb, while Jack Famulski, Dakota White and Joshua Clavel added one goal each.

The Saints play their first championship game on May 10.
