Adam Ferrell up to bat for DeKalb Green in a game that was a must win for the team.

The DeKalb Senior League has ended their season with some exciting games. 
On July 9, DeKalb Orange played a double header with the first game being against DeKalb Green. 
DeKalb Green came out strong, with Laradon Wiggins and Adam Ferrell each getting a walk and Casey Taylor getting a single and a walk.  Paxton Butler got a single and two walks, while Nick Parsley got a single and a double.  Noah Parsley had two singles and a walk with Ty Curtis getting two singles and a double.  Andrew Cornelius came away with four walks during the game. 
For DeKalb Orange, Zack Washer had a walk, while Brady Hughes came away with a single.  Lee Randolph and Josh Hembree each had a single and a walk, while Zack Stover had a double and a walk. 
In the end it was DeKalb Green that would prevail, beating Orange 11-4.
For the second game of the night, DeKalb Orange took on DeKalb Blue in a game that showed nearly the same results.
For DeKalb Blue, Joe Driver had a walk, while Jacob Self had two walks.  Seth Whaley was walked three times, while Christian Pruitt and Caleb Stanley each had a single and two walks.  Conner Pruiit came away with a double and two walks.  Austin Brown had a single and was walked once. 
For DeKalb Orange, the hits were few.  Braxton Linder and Zack Roberts each had a walk, while Lee Randolph had two walks.  Dylan Stover had a single and a walk.
DeKalb Blue took the nightcap game with a 10-3 victory. 
On July 16, the final games of the season were played with DeKalb Green playing the double header.  If Green could win both games, it would be tied with DeKalb Blue for first place. 
In the first game, Green faced Blue in a game that would see Green come out strong. 
For DeKalb Green, Laradon Wiggins had a walk, while Andrew Cornelius had two walks. Ty Curtis, Paxton Butler, and Casey Taylor each had a single and a walk, with Nick Parsley coming away with a double. 
DeKalb Blue came right back, however, showing why they were so strong all season.  Jacob Self was walked four times, while Caleb Stanley had four singles.  Christian Pruitt and Austin Agee each had a single and two walks, while Conner Pruitt had a double.  Seth Whaley had a double and a walk, with Austin Brown getting two singles and a double.  Joe Driver had a big night after being walked once, he came away with a home run. 
DeKalb Blue came away with the win and the top spot in the league, beating Green 7-1. 
In the final game of the night, and the season, DeKalb Green faced off against the winless DeKalb Orange. 
The walking woes continued for DeKalb Green, giving up 17 walks, nine in the second inning alone.  For DeKalb Orange, Zack Roberts got three walks, Brady Hughes had four walks, and Jacob Washer was hit by the pitcher.  Lee Randolph had a single and two walks, Austin Johnson had a single, and Josh Hembree had a double, a walk, and was hit by the pitcher.  Walks to pick-up players accounted for the rest of the walks recorded. 
For DeKalb Green, Andrew Cornelius was walked once, while Noah Parsley and Adam Ferrell each had a double. 
The Orange team ended the season with its first win, a 21-0 blowout against DeKalb Green.
