The DeKalb County Senior Tigers Took on the Upperman Stingers in Baxter Saturday, chalking up their first victory of the season in a 23-0 blowout.
The Tiger offense, led by quarterback Kolter Kilgore, made good use of tailbacks Issac Knowles and Desmond Nokes seemingly marching the ball toward the goal line at will. Knowles racked up two touchdowns in the game, and Nokes broke loose with a 40-yard run for the end zone late in the second quarter.
DeKalb will return to Cornerstone Middle School in Baxter with a 2-1 record on the season Saturday to face the Monterey Wildcats.
