Senior Tigers suffer loss to Livingston

The DeKalb Senior Tigers wrapped up post-season play Saturday with an 18-6 loss to Livingston in the Middle Tennessee Football Conference Championships in Livingston Saturday.

 

DeKalb opened up with a 40-yard touchdown drive in the first quarter, but were shut down by the Livingston defense for the rest of the game. Livingston, however, put 12 on the board in the second quarter, and added six more in the third.

 

The DeKalb offense put in 95 yards rushing and none passing as a team, but Livingston managed to gain 114 yards on the ground and 63 in the air.

 

Desmond Nokes led the DeKalb rushing game with 58 yards, while Issac Knowles put in 30 yards running the ball. Kolter Kilgore and Josh May each added three yards to the Tiger rushing stats.

 

Nokes and Colby Barnes were up front for the DeKalb defense with three tackles each, while Brady Hale, Josh May, Issac Knowles, Berkley Pedigo and Ari White each recorded two tackles in the game, and Conner Crabtree and Shadie Rankhorn added one each.
