With heavy rains and storms popping up over the last few weeks, the 9U Machine Pitch League managed to get in a few games last week.
On June 9, the Good Health Flatliners battled the DTC Diamonds in a shutout game.
Aniston Farler, Bella France, Aly Griffith, Shayla Kirby, and Kenlee Taylor each had one run for the Diamonds, while Cadee Griffith, Madison Martin, Kennedy Polk, and Morgan Walker each had two. Martin and Walker each had a double, while Griffith had two doubles. France and Griffith each had a triple, while Farler, France, Taylor, and Walker each had a homerun in the game.
The Diamonds got the 13-0 shutout.
That same day the Headlines Razors battled the Johnson’s Logging Sawdusters.
Lacey England, Jacey Hatfield, Xharia Lyons, Alyssa Pugh, Caley Taylor, and Sadie West each had one run for the Razors.
Madison Dawson, Katherine Knowles, and Jazmine Wagner each had a run for the Sawdusters, while Emma Johnson, Madeline Martin, Briahna Murphy, and Brianna Winkler each had two. Murphy had a double in the game, while Johnson had a triple.
The Sawdusters won, 11-8.
204 Fitness Center Buchanon faced off with Wilson Bank and Trust Birdwell that same day in another shutout game.
For Birdwell, Hailey Birdwell, Gala Holbrook, and Destiny Shackle each had one run, while Hannah Eaton and Gracie Netherton each had two. Netherton had a homerun in the game, while Eaton had two.
Birdwell took the win, 7-0.
On June 12, Headlines Razors took on 204 Fitness Center Buchanon in a shutout game.
For the Razors, Xharia Lyons had one run, while Lacey England, Mackenzie Sprague, and Sadie West each had two runs. Jacey Hatfield came away with three runs. The Razors took the win, 12-0.    
The Johnson’s Logging Sawdusters faced off with Wilson Bank and Trust Birdwell that same day.
Madison Dawson had one run for the Sawdusters, while Katherine Knowles and Layla Walker each had two. Walker had a triple in the game.
For Birdwell, Alyssa White and Hailey Birdwell each scored one run, with both getting a double.
The Sawduster got the win, 8-2. 
The DTC Diamonds played the Guaranty Trust Tunks.
Aniston Farler, Madison Martin, Reanna O’Connell, Kennedy Polk, and Kenlee Taylor each had one run, while Aly Griffith and Morgan Walker each scored three times. Cadee Griffith had four runs in the game. Farler and Griffith each had a double, while Martin and Walker had a homerun.
Hennessy Beaty had the Tunks one and only run of the game. Beaty and Angelina Dodd each had a double.
The Diamonds took the victory, 15-1.
