With the start of school and the end of summer, the game of soccer is returning to DeKalb County. The DeKalb County High School Lady Tigers have announced the kick-off of their season this coming weekend, while DeKalb Youth Soccer is holding registration.
The DCHS Lady Tigers Soccer team will host their fifth annual "Play Day" this Aug. 17. There, the Lady Tigers and several other high school teams will compete in a day-long contest at the DCHS field.
The games begin at 9:00 a.m., and last until approximately 5:00 p.m. Admission will be $5 for the event, and the concession stand will be open. Go out and support the Lady Tigers as they kick off their 2013 season.
Those just starting out in the sport have an opportunity to play as the DeKalb Youth Soccer League begins its fall season.
