The DMS Soccer season is underway. DMS Soccer opened the season with the Battle of Center Hill Playday at Home on March 2nd. The Varsity finished with a 1-2 record. The JV lost their only game with a final score of 2-0. At the end of the day, some valuable experience was gained for every player.
As rain came in the following week, the Saints found themselves with two cancellations as they were scheduled to travel to Warren County on March 5th and Watertown on March 7th. The match against Warren County has been rescheduled to April 5th at 5:30 P.M. The match against Watertown will not be rescheduled.
The Saints traveled to Fentress County to begin their Conference schedule on March 11th. The Saints came to play as they dominated the home team with a final score of 9-0.
Goals: Jakota Estes (2), Chris Petriz (2), Kaine Salas, Jordan Martinez, Angel Sosa, James Mata, Axel Godinez.
The JV team would also go on to win 9-0 as well.
The Saints were scheduled to travel to Manchester on March 15th and March 16th to participate in the Red Raider Invitational in Manchester but it was also canceled.
The Saints will finally have a home game on March 19th and March 22nd against Prescott and White County respectively.
