After a washout June 8 at the Bill Page Ball Park, the co-ed softball league swung back into action on June 9.

The Baby Doll division saw Johnson’s Chiropractic pop the Mayor’s Kid’s/Jeremy Trapp 14-12 in a very entertaining contest.

Nappa Auto Parts dismantled DeKalb Community Hospital 24-2 in the lop-sided Senior Doll game.

On June 11, Johnson’s Chiropractic once again took to the field taking on Big Bounce in the first game of the night. Johnson’s Chiropractic came out with a 7-6 victory to cap the two-win week for the team.

Playing for the first time of the week the Junior Doll division P&T Home Health ball club took care of business winning 17-7 over DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

In the night-cap, the Senior Doll’s DeKalb Community Hospital allowed 26 runs while only plating three in the painful 26-3 loss to D&S Specialtees.

The week was unforgiving to the DeKalb Community Hospital team by allowing 50 total runs while only scoring only five in their two losses.
