The DCHS Tennis team traveled to Tennessee Tech on Thursday to compete in the District Tournament. Players advance by winning 2 out of 3 sets in the single elimination tournament.

 

Anna Malone and Hailey Walker competed in Doubles. They defeated Macon County 7-5 and 6-3 in their first match and then were defeated by Goodpasture 6-0 and 6-0 in the second round. Aspen Flarity and Chloe White defeated Cannon County 6-3, Lost 6-0 and Won 6-3. In the second round of the tournament they were defeated by Macon County 6-2 and 6-2. Haley Hale was defeated by Livingston in singles 6-4 and 6-4. Brooke Roller was defeated by Cannon County in singles 6-0 and 6-0.

 

In the Men’s bracket Chandler Vincent and Isaac Beck competed in doubles against Macon County. They won 6-1, lost 6-3 and won 6-3. In the second round of the tournament they were defeated by Goodpasture 6-2 and 6-1.

 

Lane Ball was defeated in singles by Livingston 6-0 and 6-1. Braxton Pugh was defeated in singles by Macon County 6-0 and 6-0.
