After returning to the TSSAA State Baseball Tournament in back-to-back seasons, some well-deseved awards were coming for some DeKalb County High Tiger Baseball team members and their coach. Being named All-Region in back-to-back seasons were Sophomore pitcher Cody Puckett, Senior pitcher/outfielder Shane Salley, Senior shortstop Destry Wiggins and Coach of the Year Scott Odom.Puckett finished the season with a record of nine wins and one loss on the mound. He pitched 63 innings with 92 strikeouts, allowing only 19 walks.
