The DCHS softball team will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tigerette softball with a program at the game against Warren County in Smithville on April 22 (Friday). The regular game will begin at 4:30 p.m., and all Tigerette alumni are encouraged to attend. DCHS student Diondra Foster began circulating a petition asking the board of education to approve a fast-pitch softball team in 1985, and after the form garnered more than 100 signatures, the measure was approved.
