The district tourney couldn’t have started better for the Tigerettes as they pounced on the Cannon County Lady Lions, mauling the visitors 12-1 in the first round Friday evening. The Tigerettes never trailed as they scored two in the first and six in the second before the Lady Lions plated their only run in the third inning. Four more runs for the home team in the bottom of the fourth was all it took to complete the opening-round rout.
