The Middle Tennessee Softball Coaches Association has recognized members of the 2013 DCHS Tigerette Softball team for outstanding performance in 2013.Annieka Norton, Chelsey Brannon, Shauna Taylor and Danielle Tyson were named to the All Academic Team.Tyra Graham, Dani Meadows and Danielle Tyson were named to the All Mid-State Team.In addition, Annieka Norton, Taylor Monette were chosen for the All-Star Game (seniors only are eligible to play).The MTSCA works on projects such as coaching clinics, Middle Tn All-Star games, all mid-state teams, the TN/KY all-star series, all academic teams, the MTSCA tournament, and scholarship opportunities.The MTSCA All-Star games, and recognition of all mid-state teams and the all academic teams was held at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro on June 12.
