Tigerettes stymied by Stone

Tigerette Faith Judkins scored a second-half goal against Stone Memorial Thursday in the home district match.
The Tigerettes had a tough time with Stone Memorial Thursday, dropping the district game 9-1. DCHS Faith Judkins had the second-half score and goalkeeper Meghan Brandt had 13 saves in the contest.The Lady Panthers jumped to an early lead with goals by Katie Fagon at the two-minute mark 2:00 and Mercy McClung at 13- and 30-minutes in.McClung struck again in the second half at the 30-minute mark before Judkins put the Tigerettes on the board, down 4-1.Fagon scored two more quick goals at 61:00 and 62:00 putting one more in at the buzzer for good measure.The Tigerettes played host to Cumberland County on Tuesday for another district game. Results were not available at press time.DeKalb goes on the road to Livingston on Thursday.
