Tigerette Head Coach Danny Fish points the way home. Fish, in his first year at the helm, was voted Coach of the Year in District 8-AA.
The Tigerette softball team took the District 8-AA championship Wednesday night with a 7-0 win over Macon County. DeKalb scored seven runs on nine hits, with Kayley Caplinger and Joni Robinson slapping a double and a single each. Hanah Panter and Kenzie France hit two singles each, while Megan Walker added a single.
