The DeKalb County Tigers Soccer Team were in action last Friday evening, at home taking on a tough district team from Central Magnet High School of Murfreesboro. The game did not have the results the Tigers were hoping for giving them a district loss.
Central Magnet scored 12 minutes into the game, then again four minutes later. The fast-paced team passed well and set up shots, outmatching their DeKalb rivals. CM scored again 20 minutes into play, then once more three minutes later, going into halftime, 4-0.
The second half would see CM ice the game, getting a goal three minutes into play, and keeping the Tigers out of the net for the rest of the game. Central Magnet took the win, 5-0.
DeKalb Goalkeeper Skylar Pease had 11 saves during the game.
