Tigers maul Lions on senior night

The DeKalb County High School baseball team celebrated senior night Monday while hosting the Cannon County Lions in the two team’s last scheduled contest. Aided by underclassmen Sam McMillen’s and John Maynard’s pitching performance, the senior Tigers walked off their home-field victorious with an 8-1 win over the Lions. Junior Sam McMillen started on the mound for the Tigers lasting four innings while allowing no runs on just two hits and striking out three.
