Tough fight for Junior Pro girls championships

The girls’ divisions of DeKalb Junior Pro Basketball, finished their seasons last week, with several games leading up to championship match-ups.
On Mar. 1, in the Little Girls Division, C&L Nursery Lady Clippers played DTC for the championship game. C&L had earned the right to play top-winning DTC after beating Ramsey Ruckus, 15-5, earlier in the week.
For C&L, Xharia Lyons scored six points, while Alyssa Pugh had three.
DTC’s Aniston Farler scored six points, while Aly Griffith had four.
DTC won the championship with the one-point win, 10-0.
In the Middle Girls Division, two games were played on Feb. 25, to decide what teams would face each other in the championship game on Mar. 1.
Snow Hill Storage played All Seasons Marine in a battle.
For Snow Hill, Katie Colwell scored eight, while Joleen Squires had two points.
All Seasons’ Mallori Hart scored 14 points, while Courtney London got four.
All Seasons took the win, 18-10.
That same day, NHC Smithville took on Davis Auto Body.
For NHC, Miah Mullins scored six points, with Kyra Eldridge and Natalie Snipes each getting two. 
Leah Davis had six points for Davis Auto, while Monica Carlton and Hannah Willingham each had four. Gracie Starnes and Ellie Webb each scored two points.
Davis Auto came away with the win, 18-10.
On Mar. 1, Davis Auto and All Seasons Marine faced each other for the championship game.
For Davis Auto, Leah Davis and Brooke Gannon each scored two points, while Hannah Willingham had one.
Mallori Hart scored eight for All Seasons, while Megan Cantrell, Haidyn Hale, and Elizabeth Seber each had two.
All Seasons Marine took the championship game, 14-5.
