Upperman defeats Saints, Lady Saints

The DeKalb Middle School Lady Saints took a 52-24 beating from Upperman Middle School on eighth-grade night last week. Upperman outpaced DMS 19-0 in the first period, and while a 5-4 second period came in for DeKalb, the Lady Saints were outscored 12-10 in the third and 17-9 in the fourth. Kennedy Agee led the DMS offense with 12 points hitting four three-pointers, while Kadee Ferrell scored seven and Megan Cantrell put in five.
