The DeKalb West School Bulldogs baseball team continued their winning ways last week, claiming wins at home and on the road.

DWS wouldn’t get on the board until the bottom of the fourth, tying the game 1-1. They would score one more at the bottom of the sixth to claim the 2-1 win. Porter Hancock and Elliot Barnes each crossed the plate for the Bulldogs, while Preston Taylor went five innings on the mound, allowing one hit and one run, striking out 10 and walking three. Reed Midgett took the win, striking out two.
The following Friday, the Bulldogs were on the road, traveling to Livingston to take on the Tigers. The Bulldogs would shut out Livingston.

Barnes got the win from the mound, going three and a third innings striking out six and walking three. Donnell three two a two third innings, striking out three and walking zero.
The following day, the Bulldogs were back at home, this time hosting the Tigers. It would be a closer game in that the Bulldogs this time allowed Livingston to score one run. Livingston scored one run in the first inning, but that would be all they would see.
Taylor would get a double at the bottom of the first, followed by a walk by Hancock. Both would reach the plate after a walk by Midgett, and another for Moore. Livingston would get off the field but DWS was up 2-1.
Donnell would score a run in the second, while the Bulldogs dominated the third. Barnes, Odom, Donnell, Taylor, Hancock, Midgett, Moore, and Cathey would all find their way home. Odom and Donnell would each claim another run in the fourth, and DWS would go on the take the 13-1 victory.
