Rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm for Customer Appreciation Day at the Smithville Review this past week as nearly 200 people poured into the office for hot dogs and great deals on subscriptions. Subscriptions were offered for the unheard of price of $30 per year during the one day event, drawing over 50 subscribers to extend their paper delivery or start a new subscription. While stopping off for their subscriptions and to meet with the Review staff, customers enjoyed grilled hot dogs, baked beans, chips, cookies and drinks.
