The DeKalb County High School prom was held Friday evening at the Capitol Theater in Lebanon. The class of 2018 voted Olivia Winter and Trey Jones as its king and queen.
“The dance floor stayed full,” said Debi DePriest who helped coordinate the annual event. “Everyone had a good time.”
As part of a time honored tradition, the seniors and those going to the prom met outside DeKalb High for pictures and hugs with family and friends. They then piled into stretch limos and other vehicles and headed their separate ways for dinner before convening around 9 p.m. at the Theater for the prom. The event lasted until 11:30 p.m. About 250 attended the senior event which was themed “Never Say Good-bye.
