There will be a meeting of the American Legion and Ladies' Auxiliary Thursday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. at the building at Snow Hill. Delegates from the Boys and Girls' state and their families will be guests of honor to share their week-long adventure. All members are encouraged to attend. A meal will be enjoyed before the meeting. Chicken tenders from Kilgores will be the main dish. Any member attending needs to bring a compatible dish and/or dessert.
