Art sale to benefit UCHRA

Artists from Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour will again be selling donated hand-made items in support of UCHRA Nutrition programs in DeKalb County. This year the sale has a new location.The event will be Saturday, Aug. 6, at the new Farmer's Market from 7a.m. until noon. The Farmer's Market is located at 205 E. Bryant St, next to the new County Community Building.Student work from the ceramics and glass departments at the Appalachian Center for Craft will be featured this year, as well as other donated handiworks.The UCHRA Nutrition Program feeds about 40 seniors four days a week at locations in Smithville, Liberty and Alexandria.
