DCHS softball standout Kristena Bain signed Thursday to play college ball at Cumberland University and pursue a degree in nursing. Having already obtained her CNA licenses, Bain – the 17-year-old daughter of Bobby and Ann Rader – was a member of the DCHS Student Council, vice-president of the Spanish Club, member of DCHS Climate Crew and HOSA and was a four-year member of the Tigerettes. “I have always believed that with the right attitude and an outstanding work ethic, anything is possible,” Bain said.
