There will be a benefit motorcycle ride on Sunday, Oct. 15 meeting at the DeKalb County Community Center at 10 a.m. We will be leaving kick stands up from the complex at 11 a.m. It will be around 100 miles round trip ending at the City of Smithville Fire Department around 2 p.m. where everyone will get to meet Patrick Edge and give him all the money that we raised that day. Cost is $5 per bike, $10 with passenger. Any donations received will be greatly appreciated.

Patrick’s tale: Patrick is a former volunteer firefighter for the City of Smithville. Medical issues have led to brain surgery and continued problems that prevent him from working. Edge volunteered his time and put his life on the line so now let’s give back.
