A Wednesday morning motorcycle crash sent a 71-year-old Watertown man to the hospital last week. According to Captain Steven Leffew of the Smithville Police Department, William Taylor was injured when his motorcycle rear ended a pickup truck in front of the Bridgeway Motel in Smithville. Taylor was traveling east on Broad Street on a Honda Goldwing motorcycle when he collided with the rear a 2010 Toyota Tacoma driven by Michael Auffinger, 33, of Liberty, who was not injured.
