According to Smithville Police Chief Mark Collins, on Thursday, Jan. 4, Tabitha D Wann, 51, was arrested for domestic assault.  Police were informed that Wann assaulted the victim by scratching him on his face causing him to bleed.  Bond: $2500 GS: Thursday, Feb. 1.

Johnathon T Wann, 28, was also arrested on Thursday, Jan 4, for assault and resist, stop, frisk, halt.  Police were called to the Wann residence in reference to a domestic situation and upon informing Wann that they were taking his mother into custody for domestic assault, Johnathon approached the officer aggressively, almost in his face, stating that the officer would not be arresting his mother.  The officer ordered Johnathon to back away and he didn’t comply.  The officer moved Johnathon away and Johnathon then grabbed the officer and attempted to go at him.  Officers on the scene took him to the ground and handcuffed him without further incident.  Bond: $6000 GS: Thursday, Feb 1.
