The Smithville Police Department honored Corporal Travis Bryant with a certificate of achievement in recognition of five years of dedicated service with the department last week. Bryant serves as the department's evidence officer and radar instructor, and he has helped the department secure more than $90,000 in grants through the Governor's Highway Safety Office.
