Trash collection sites closed July 4 The DeKalb County transfer station and all trash collection sites will be closed Wednesday, July 4, for Independence Day. Smithville Cumberland Church holds event Jamboree weekend Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church will hold its annual yard sale and craft fair during the Jamboree on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Money raised will go toward upcoming mission trips to Brazil. The youth will again serve delicious food from the Kountry Kitchen from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to raise funds to help with youth mission trips.
