Today, Congressman Diane Black (R-TN-06), Chairman of the House Budget Committee, joined President Trump’s Small Business Administrator, Linda McMahon, on SBA’s “Ignite Tour” to discuss issues facing business owners in middle Tennessee. Black released the following statement:
“It was an honor to have Administrator McMahon in Tennessee’s Sixth district to hear the voices of small business owners who for too long have suffered under crippling Obama-era mandates and regulations,” said Congressman Black. “Thankfully, President Trump and his leadership team understand that the government does not create jobs. I’m proud to work with the Trump administration to empower the private sector by lifting the red tape that weakens our economy and stifles entrepreneurship. Small business owners must be allowed to do what they do best – create jobs, invest in their employees and grow their businesses.”
Congressman Diane Black represents Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District. A nurse for more than 40 years, she serves as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and a member of the Ways and Means Committee
