A man accused of a child sex crime involving a family member was sentenced in DeKalb County Criminal Court on April 8. Thomas Copenhaver, 45, received a six-year sentence suspended to supervised probation except for time served after pleading guilty to the charge of sexual battery. He will be entered on the state's sexual offender registry.
