Rose Marie Hines, 47, was arrested for DUI and simple possession of Schedule I and II drugs on Nov. 2.
Richard Eugene Nokes, 45, was arrested for public intoxication in the same incident.
Officers dispatched to Family Dollar parking lot to investigate reports of two people passed out in a vehicle reportedly found Hines was passed out under the steering wheel.
Upon waking her, officers found that she had slurred speech and could barely keep her eyes open.
She performed poorly on all field sobriety tasks.
Authorities allegedly found Schedule II and IV drugs on her person.
Police said Nokes was also asleep in the car, occupying the passenger seat.
Upon waking him, officers said he was he was disoriented, had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet.
He was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
Hines bond is set at $5,500, and Nokes is under a $1,500 bond.
They are both to appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 29.
Robert Roy Atnip Jr., 43, was arrested for public intoxication, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 3.
According to the warrants, an officer was dispatched to Golf Club Lane to investigate reports of a person knocking on doors trying to sell ammunition.
When the officer approached Atnip, he allegedly had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person, and was unsteady on his feet and disoriented.
Police said Atnip gave consent to search a backpack in the back of his truck where drug paraphernalia was found.
A search of his person reportedly revealed a knife in a sheath with a blade longer than four inches, along with a hatchet in his pocket.
His bond is set at $7,500, and he will appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 15.
Daniel Ray Wilson 28, was arrested for burglary on Oct. 30.
Police said Wilson broke the passenger side window of a vehicle in the Taco Bell, reached inside and took the victim’s purse.
According to the arrest report, he broke the window with a brick to gain entrance to the vehicle with intent to commit a felony.
His bond is set at $5,000, and he will appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 15.
Jack Mullican Jr., 33, was arrested for tattooing a minor Oct. 25.
Police said Mullican tattooed a minor without the consent of the parent.
Clent Lee Shehane 27, was arrested for domestic assault on Oct. 25.
According to the warrant, an officer sent to investigate a possible domestic assault observed Shehane yelling and arguing with a family member who was standing by the car.
An investigation allegedly revealed that Shehane had assaulted the family member, grabbing and throwing him roughly, leaving multiple marks to indicate that an altercation had occurred.
Devin Anson French, 26, was arrested for domestic assault Oct. 23.
According to the warrant, an officer was dispatched to investigate reports of a woman screaming in the area of Bell Street.
The policeman located the alleged victim, who told the officer that her ex-boyfriend, French, had assaulted her at her home.
Further questioning revealed that the French had left the area, but he was soon found on Jackson Street.
It was found that French was the primary aggressor
Larry Estil Lattimore, 51, was arrested for public intoxication on Oct. 27.
An officer dispatched to Cherry Street to check out a report of a man armed with a knife found Lattimore sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle with the door open.
Police said the resident of the home had asked Lattimore to leave.
Upon contact with Lattimore, the officer found him to be unsteady on his feet, have slurred speech, a strong odor of a fermented beverage about his person and to have an aggressive demeanor.
Lattimore was arrested for his and the public's safety.
His bond is set at $1,000, and General Sessions Court on Nov. 15.
Felicia A Moore 22, was arrested for theft under $500 on Oct. 30.
Police said Moore took items from Walmart without paying for them with the intent to deprive the store of its property.
Her bond is set at $1,500, and she will appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 29.
Crystal Gail Pettit, 35, was cited for simple possession on Oct. 30.
Pettit was stopped at Walmart for suspicion of shoplifting.
Upon a search of her person, the arresting officer found several white capsules thought to be a Schedule V drug. She will appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 29.
Sharon Kay Robinson 55, was cited for theft on Nov. 2.
Police said Robinson attempted to walk out of Dollar General Store without paying for products in her possession.
She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 29.
John Edward Turner 65, was arrested for public intoxication on Nov. 3.
According to the warrant, police received a report of an intoxicated person who had fallen in Mapco Express.
Upon arrival, officers reportedly found Turner sitting in the floor with a busted mouth.
Upon being cleared by EMS, he was escorted out of the store.
He reportedly had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person, couldn't walk without assistance and his eyes were glazed.
He was placed under arrest for his safety and transported to jail for booking.
His bond is set at $1,500, and he will appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 29.
