Smithville Review/Angie Meadows A two-car crash near the intersection of Allen Ferry and Holmes Creek Roads Thursday left two people injured. According to Sergeant Eric McCormick of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Joe Ferrell, 43, was traveling south on Allen Ferry Road when he lost control of his 1997 Nissan Altima while negotiating a curve. The resulting skid caused him to collide with the driver’s side of a northbound 1989 Nissan pickup driven by George Lee Byford, 45.
