Whether it's something for a wedding, birthday or anniversary or something to brighten up your house, Creations by Donna has something for everyone.

Owner and designer Donna Stapp has recently opened her doors at her new shop located on Cookeville Highway at 820 North Congress Boulevard.

“It’s been a dream of mine since I was a young girl,” Donna said of opening her own shop. “I just fell in love with it. I’ve always enjoyed doing floral design.”

Donna, who was born and raised in DeKalb County, noted that she has been in the home décor and decoration business for many years, working for others and doing freelance work. However, when she opened for business just two weeks ago, she had finally stepped out to follow her dreams of having her own place.

“We offer flowers and gifts for all occasions,” Donna said, showing her rooms full of stock for customers to browse through.

“It can be weddings, funerals, special events or home décor,” she noted, adding that if she doesn’t have what you are looking for in stock, there is a good chance she can get it. “We do special orders and custom arrangements.”

Donna, whose maiden name is Donna Love, said achieving her dreams of having her own shop would not have been possible without the support of her husband, Jim.

Donna is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. She offers delivery and can be reached by calling 615-597-2400.
