The deadline to qualify for offices up for grabs in the August 4 elections is tomorrow (April 7) at noon. According to Administrator of Elections Dennis Stanley, there are still some seats for which no candidate has qualified. As of Monday, one of two aldermanic seats in Dowelltown lacks a candidate, and the only petition issued for the Dowelltown mayor’s office had not been returned.
