A Sheriff's deputy responded to a lawn mower accident on Askin Lane in the Austin Bottom area of DeKalb County this evening. The owner was mowing his yard. He was found deceased about 40 feet down an embankment by his yard. It was a standard riding mower not a zero turn. DeKalb EMS was on the scene. The DeKalb County Rescue Squad was summoned for assistance.
