DeKalb under quarantine for Emerald Ash Borers
DeKalb is among 59 counties in Tennessee declared under quarantine because of Emerald Ash Borers. The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive pest that targets ash trees. The movement of ash trees and ash tree products is now prohibited in DeKalb, Bedford, Cannon, and Coffee, Lincoln, Van Buren, Grundy, Moore, Sequatchie, and Warren counties, among others.
