DeKalb West D.A.R.E. graduates honored

Fifth graders at DeKalb West School were awarded pins and certificates in recognition of their graduation from the D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program Thursday. The students also participate in an essay contest, with the overall winner taking home a stuffed Daren the Lion toy and a $50 check from Judge Bratten Cook II, presented by Matt Boss. The 2015 winners were Allison Eastes and Breanna Cothern from Jeanna Caplinger and Nadina Manganiello classes.
