The sheriff is asking the public’s help in solving the break-in of Twisted Oaks last month, after investigators were able to pull video images of the burglar caught on surveillance camera.
“We are asking if you have any information to call me or Detective Bryan Williams,” said Sheriff Patrick Ray of the pictures that were released publically this week. “We’ve been running leads.”
Sheriff Ray said the burglary in question happened at the Nashville Highway establishment on May 23.
“The alarm was given out at 2:04 a.m.,” the sheriff noted, adding deputies scrambled and had arrived at the location in about three minutes of the alarm sounding. “They found someone had entered the building and took some cash.”
While the culprit was gone when deputies arrived, he unknowingly left his image on video.
“Our detectives were able to watch the cameras and pull images of our suspect,” the sheriff said, noting the bearded burglar is a heavyset man who, thus far, has remained unidentified.
The sheriff hopes someone will recognize the pictures and contact his office at 615-597-4935.
