Richard Lynn Judkins, 45, of Dowelltown was arrested on June 25 and charged with domestic assault after DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of shots fired. When deputies arrived, they found Judkins locked in a bathroom while a female had run into the woods. According to reports, a family member who witnessed the argument tried to retrieve the gun from Judkins and noticed the female had a knife.
