Amanda Tarango, 37, had to be extricated from her vehicle by the fire department after this crash just before 9 a.m. in Liberty Tuesday. Trooper Bobby Johnson of the THP said Tarango was traveling westbound on Highway 70, and crossed four lanes, hitting a curb and guardrail face before her ‘99 Toyota Camry came to rest in a culvert approximately 100 feet off the roadway. Johnson said Tarango told him she dropped her children off at DeKalb West School after working all night and fell asleep after leaving the parking lot. Johnson reportedly suffered a cut to the head, and was transported to DeKalb Community Hospital by EMS.
