No one was apparently injured in this rollover accident on Short Mountain Highway Sunday night.

According to Trooper Mark Jones of the THP, a 2008 Nissan Titan truck was traveling toward Smithville when it left the roadway on the left side and overturned several times while crossing the parking lot of Banks-Pisgah Church. The truck came to rest on its wheels in an adjoining field. The trooper said that while the driver is believed to have fled the scene, one passenger has been questioned, and charges are pending.
