Incumbent James H. Dillard, Jr. of the Gordonsville Exchange regained the only contested seat on the DTC Board of Directors Saturday.Dillard defeated challenger Ronnie Burton for the position.Dillard garnered 266 votes from co-op members, while Burton took 115 votes.Three other incumbent members of the board, Roy N. Pugh from the Auburntown exchange, Jimmy Oakley from the Temperance Hall exchange and David Parker from the Woodland exchange all ran unopposed.Pugh received 229 votes, Oakley got 231 votes, and 218 votes were cast for Parker.All four will serve three year terms. The election was held the annual DTC Communications meeting at the fairgrounds in AlexandriaThe DTC Communications Board of Directors membership includes Ronnie Garrison of Smithville, Randy Campbell of Liberty, Bennie Curtis of Alexandria, Terry McPeak of Norene, Charles Dwight Vinson of Milton, Greg Rogers of Woodbury, and Pugh, Dillard, Oakley, and Parker.
