Dunlap found stabbed to death in Kentucky

A resident of Smithville has reportedly been found stabbed to death in Kentucky.Kentucky State Patrolmen and Hart County deputies responding to a call of a stabbing at a residence in Horse Cave and reportedly found Patrick L. Dunlap, 52, inside the residence with knife wounds to his body.Police made the discovery a little after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.Officials say Dunlap was lying motionless against a sliding door, and two other people were found at the scene.Kentucky state police detectives arrested Douglas W. Miller, 41 of 380 Hatcher Valley Road, Horse Cave, Kentucky, the home where the act occurred.Miller was charged with the murder of Dunlap.Also arrested was Deborah Thistlewaite, 50, of Bloomfield, Kentucky.Thistlewaite was reportedly arrested by the Hart County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated warrants.Miller and Thistlewaite were both taken to the Hart County Jail.Dunlap was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville for autopsy.Kentucky State Police said the investigation into the death is ongoing.
