One hundred twenty Smithvillians visited the polls during the first five days of early voting.
Twenty-three people voted in the Smithville Municipal Election Wednesday, 31 on Thursday, 19 on Friday, 25 on Saturday and 22 on Monday.
The election, in which three city aldermen will be chosen, will be held on June 18.
Early voting will continue through June 13 on the following days and hours:
•Mondays: Noon until 5 p.m.
•Tuesdays: 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
•Wednesdays: 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
•Thursdays: 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
•Fridays: 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
•Saturdays: 9 a.m. until noon.
All voting for the city election will be held on the first floor of the courthouse.
Candidates for aldermen are incumbents Gayla Hendrix, Shawn Jacobs, and Danny Washer, and challengers Aaron Meeks, Josh Miller, and Anthony Scott.
