Early voting for yesterday’s election totaled 1,559 in DeKalb County, down from 3,196 in the presidential election two years ago, and 1,989 four years ago. The last day of early voting, Oct. 30, saw the largest single-day turnout with 267 DeKalb Countians casting ballots. A total of 456 people plus 69 property rights voters cast ballots in Smithville city liquor referendums.
